Depending on the vanadium content in the alloy, FeV is usually divided into two main grades, FeV50 and FeV80, where the number represents the approximate mass percentage of vanadium. In the steel industry, FeV is widely used as an efficient alloy additive, especially in the smelting process of high-strength structural steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, stainless steel and various special performance alloys.
